Paphiopedilum species arrow delenatii

Price: $15.00

P. delenatii was originally discovered around 1913 by a French army officer. Specimens made their way to France, only one survived, and was eventually selfed, producing viable seed. For many decades, all P. delenatii plants in cultivation were thought to have descended from this one plant. In the early 1990s, however, the species was once again discovered in the wild. The reintroduction of new blood invigorated breeding efforts, and you can find excellent plants at very affordable prices.
