Paphiopedilum species arrow armeniacum

Price: $35.00

P. armeniacum comes from China and is a member of the Parvisepalum subgroup. It grows in an area which can receive some snow during the winter, so it is definitely a cold-tolerant species. The foliage on this small orchid is covered with dark tesselations.

P. armeniacum created a huge sensation when it was first discovered, resulting in a number of First Class Certificate awards by both the AOS and RHS. The rich yellow color of the flower, along with its large pouch, make it no surprise that this species continues to attract a devoted following.
